This diploma, which few physicians in Turkey possess, signifies that the individual's knowledge, language proficiency, and experience are recognized at an international level. The European Board of Ophthalmology (EBO) diploma is awarded through an international examination accepted across Europe, assessing whether the candidate possesses the knowledge required to practice ophthalmology in EU countries. Those who pass this exam are granted the title Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO).
