Nutrition of Diet Divisions of our hospitals serve to help patients take a step towards a healthy and quality life and eat quality and safe diet that is planned according to personal characteristic.
After necessary tests are done in Nutrition and Diet Division, personalized healthy eating program is planned, also by considering work and social life conditions.
Our dieticians not only make personalized eating plans, but they also inform patients about healthy eating behaviors and help patients lose weight in a healthy manner.
Persons who present to Nutrition and Diet Division are first examined in detail regarding eating habits. Fat, muscle and water contents of body and distribution of body fat are determined; a “personalized eating plan" is made in line with age, height, gender, physical activity and blood test results. Diet process is closely supervised by dieticians. Moreover, eating plans are made and educations are organized for persons with specific conditions, such as diabetes mellitus, pregnancy, lactation, childhood and adolescence.

Inpatient Nutrition and Diet Services
Diet and Nutrition Division cooperates with physicians and nurses, after the patient is admitted to the inpatient clinic; patient- and disease-specific eating plan is made and applied by the dietician. Patients are re-assessed at certain intervals in order to supervise the nutritional condition and patients and companions are informed at all phases of dietary interventions. Patients are educated verbally and in writing about necessary dietary instructions, if required, before a patient is discharged.
