Pediatric Neurology division deals with diagnosis, treatment and supervision of brain, muscle and nervous system diseases in children aged 0 to 18 years.Brain and nervous system of children are more susceptible to injury and their response to treatment varies, as growth and development of brain and nervous system continue; accordingly, these systems require a specialty of its own.
Physical examination is supplemented by EEG, MRI, cranial ultrasound, certain metabolic tests and developmental assessment tests in pediatric neurology division.
